Our team is known for building close working relationships with not only local vendors, but also some of the industry’s most respected vendors from around the world. I'm Tommy J. an experienced wedding & event planner based in Atlanta, Georgia. For as long as I can recall, I’ve been fascinated over the top events, interior design, but even more so glamorizing things. At a very early age, my mother, family & teachers recognized and encouraged my natural ability to highlight the beauty in even the simplest things. I found myself fascinated and inspired by bridal magazines, Home Garden T.V. and the syndicated show Martha Stewart Living. Around the age of 14, not only had I taken on & mastered the task of decorating the family tree, but I’d even managed to created a small business organizing and decorating local houses during the holiday season. One of my fondest memories was centered around old school Chrismas music, pop corn and the tv holiday t.v. special “Christmas at the White House”.

Upon graduating high school, I attended the Art Institute of Atlanta and later, I obtained my BBA in entrepreneurship. Over the years, I've worked for several prominent retail establishments in positions which have allowed me to express my creativity and passion for design. At the age of 16, I was afforded an opportunity to plan & design my very first wedding which turned out to be the lengthy road to discovering my passion! Because of this, my desire to learn the industry grew, as word of mouth started to spread. The Luxe Statement has been both rewarding and inspirational. (I still can’t believe it’s actually happening sometimes!) Throughout this journey, Ive been fortunate enough to earn the trust of some beautiful clients. It's because of them The Luxe Statement in now able to press forward and expand it's reach to new and soaring heights!
